As a solo traveller without my own transport, I wanted to see the painted monasteries of Bucovina and also get from Suceava across to Sighisoara, so booking a tour was the best option. The arrangements were very easy to make by email before travelling and the service I received from Hello Bucovina was excellent. Ana Maria took me on the monasteries tour, along with a ceramics workshop and egg painting exhibition. She was enthusiastic and proud of her culture and very informative, particularly on the monastery frescos. The monasteries are absolutely stunning and were really quite magical in the snow. We had a great local lunch, and Ana Maria advised me well, especially with my being a vegetarian travelling in a predominantly meat eating country. I also appreciated her insights into the approaching Orthodox Easter. The next day, Ciprian took me over to Sighisoara, via Neamt Fortress, the enchanting Agapia Monastery, Bicaz Gorges and Red Lake, once more in the snow. Again, he was very informative and passionate about Romania, and very entertaining and easy to get along with during the long drive. He took me all the way to my hotel in Sighisoara, which I really appreciated. I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Hello Bucovina for anyone travelling off the beaten track in Romania and Moldova – a very genuine company with a real love of travel in this stunning region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
