The monasteries are rather difficult to visit without a car, so unless you have a few days to take local buses around the area a tour is the best option. we had a lovely, sunny day, and a friendly group which made for a lot of fun. the company owner, cip, was very prompt and attentive with arrangements and service. the stop at the pottery shop was a nice addition, as was the stop at a scenic viewpoint with an interesting statue where local craftspeople with homegrown businesses were selling honey, painted eggs, natural local medicines, and jars of delicious tapenades. the restaurant where we had the included lunch was also pleasant and of good quality. the monasteries are both beautiful and unique, and some of the knowledgable nuns are happy to speak with visitors. enjoy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
