The tour I took of the painted monasteries was fabulous. The guide was very knowledgeable and she provided a good balance between telling us about each monastery and giving us some time to walk around freely to take photos. I would definitely recommend Hello Bucovina Tours, it is run very professionally. The tour of the four monasteries was from about 9:00 until 17:00. The lunch on the tour was also very good, but if you order dessert (cheese pancake?), be aware the portions are quite large–consider sharing. I also stayed at the new hostel run by Ciprian, the owner of Hello Bucovina tours. The hostel was very centrally located in Suceava and it was quite clean and comfortable. Since I was spending three nights in the hostel I was even picked up from and dropped off at the train station.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
