\nWhile travelling Westwards at the foot of Romania\u2019s highest mountains, the mighty Fagaras,\u00a0visit arguably the best preserved and most impressive of the Saxon towns, Sibiu. Then take the\u00a0afternoon to walk across the village-like folk technology museum in Dumbrava Forest, on the
\noutskirts of Sibiu.
\n\u2013 Transfer to Sibiu with a stop on the way at Fagaras Fortress
\n\u2013 Walk through the three main squares in the old town: the Large, the Small and Huet\u00a0Square
\n\u2013 Visit to the Folk Technology Museum in Dumbrava Forest

And, as a jewel of the day \u2013 and one of the definite highlights of the entire trip \u2013\u00a0have a walk across the still inhabited fortress of Sighisoara, also spending the night there\u2026
\n\u2013 Ride across the rural Saxon Land with many farming villages and their medieval fortified\u00a0churches: Sibiu \u2013 Agnita \u2013 Richis \u2013 Biertan \u2013 Sighisoara
\n\u2013 Visit to the fortified church in Biertan
\n\u2013 Walking tour of Sighisoara

\nAfter visiting the Hungarian town of Targu Mures with its impressive pieces of architecture, head\u00a0up North, straight towards the Ukrainian border, to the land of Maramures and its fine wood\u00a0carving traditions.
\n\u2013 Transfer to Targu Mures and walk around, including the Roses Square, the fortress, the\u00a0beautiful synagogue (exterior visit only)
