HELLOBUCOVINA TRAVEL&TOURS is an online travel agency, founded in Suceava, Romania in 2006.
MISSION STATEMENT
HELLOBUCOVINA TRAVEL&TOURS recognizes that it has a responsibility on social, environmental and economic aspects of our community and world, beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental and social performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points. We will encourage customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to do the same and if we know that we have limited influence over third parties and we cannot control their decisions, we will communicate our policy and encourage them to align operating practices with our policy objectives.
RESPONSIBILITY
Ciprian Șlemco, the manager of HELLOBUCOVINA is responsible for ensuring that the sustainability policy is implemented. He is appointed as sustainability/CSR coordinator and his role and activities are defined at corporate level. He graduated the basic Travelife Sustainability training and exam and is in charge of monitoring, reporting, and will implement the sustainability policy and action plan. He is collaborating with the suppliers and is engaging the Sustainability team.
In emergency situations he can be replaced by another employee certified as sustainability coordinator by TRAVELIFE certification program. However, managers and all employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of the policy are met.

Our travel agency values the environment and social impact. Through integrative approaches, we involve employees, suppliers, destinations and customers in understanding the benefits of connecting with nature as a basic principle for achieving a healthy and sustainable future for all. The services and the activities we propose convey this ongoing commitment to educating employees and stakeholders to become active and responsible members of society. We have engaged internal and external stakeholders in this Policy development.
We strive to create an attractive business environment that positively impacts everyone; we take pride in the conviction that one’s lifestyle should not negatively interfere with the lives of future generations. In this sense, our services promote the relevance of the natural environment for our employees’ training and their future.
At HELLOBUCOVINA we are committed to the following objectives:
• Adopting and implementing environmentally and socially sustainable practices through defining our Sustainability Policy for the period 2025-2030;
• Appreciating and respecting the role of the environment through at least 12 employees' learning and professional development activities in the period 2025-2030;
• Reducing energy, water consumption and waste by 20% through applied practices taken with our internal departments until 2030;
• Engaging and motivating the near tourism sector community, critically analyzing the world around and striving to constantly improve essential practices of environmental protection and sustainable development of stakeholders from destinations and communities through minimum one sustainable practices awareness campaign per year until 2030 that will be offered to employees, suppliers, tour operators, local representatives, tour guides, destinations and customers.
