Missed your breakfast in the wee hours? No worries, we’ve got it waiting for you here, upon being transferred into town.
Then, belly happy, let us move on to the magic land of the painted monasteries, peeking at the mysterious blue of Voronet.
But let us kick some calories and have a deeeeep breath of fresh air with a drive up the winding and winding Transrarau Road all the way up to the whereabouts of Lady’s Cliffs. Which lady, we let you find out after a 15 minute walk to the very impressive cliffs.
Optionally, a pint at the postcard-torn Rarau Lodge can be a well deserved reward after a day that started, well, early.
The afternoon will see you back in Suceava, with the option of further city discovery or the arguably more convenient prospect of pub going.

Day 2 / Saturday

Call it a monastery or a fortress, or both. Let us head there: Sucevita.
And then, your soul delivered, what about having some clay on your hands or merely looking at them craftsmen doing their thing with the 2000 year old tradition of the Marginea black pottery?
Eggs are classical an item. Painted eggs an equally classical one. But oddities are set loose when you see the myriad of painting techniques in Letitia Orsivschi’s painted egg collection from around the world. Fun, it surely is.
Now let us get serious and return to Suceava, refresh after a (hard) day’s work before going out to
meet them locals and have a night out.

For the, huh, early birds out there, here’s your punishment for rising at dawn: have a walk around. For the others, relax, take it easily with a late breakfast.
